Mietbringsel · An event rental shop where the cart becomes a request, not a checkout

Overview

Mietbringsel rents out tables, chairs, décor and audio guestbooks for weddings and celebrations. A rental is not a purchase, so a standard shop flow was wrong from the first click: nobody pays at a checkout for something they need on one specific Saturday. We kept what people already understand (a catalogue, a cart, product pages) and changed what happens at the end: the cart is sent as an enquiry with dates, and the team replies with availability and a quote.

A shop that asks instead of charges

Every product shows a price per three days and a "request" action rather than "buy". The cart collects items and the event date, then submits as an enquiry; the owner confirms availability and sends a quote. Same WooCommerce underneath, different promise on the surface.

02

The catalogue, four ways in

Decoration, guestbooks, chairs and tables: a filterable Sortiment page with the featured pieces up front, so a couple planning a garden wedding finds the crossback chairs in two clicks instead of scrolling a grid.

03

Built for the owner to run

Products, prices, gallery and pages are all editable from the WordPress dashboard with no developer in the loop. A WhatsApp button and a request CTA sit on every page, because most enquiries start as a quick question.
