Two catalogues, one storefront: fall-protection gear and medical instruments under a single brand
Sky Shield sells harnesses and carabiners to worksites and data-acquisition systems to hospitals and labs. The risk was a site that felt like two shops stapled together. My role was the design: the information architecture, the catalogue pattern and the screens; the client’s team built it as a React application. The answer was one shared catalogue system (search, category chips, sort, paginated cards) skinned once, and a home page that introduces both lines with the same confidence.

Search, a row of category chips, a sort control and a paginated grid of cards, identical on the safety side (13 categories, from seat belts to lifelines) and the medical side (5, from VICORDER to complete systems). A buyer who learns one page has learned the whole site.

The home page opens on a mountain silhouette and the safety line, with suppliers named up front, then hands over to a bright section on fall protection and a calmer one on medical equipment. Two audiences, one scroll, no confusion about who the site is for.

Every product card shows its category, model code and a one-line summary, on a plain white ground so a black harness and a white data-acquisition box sit in the same grid without fighting. Request-a-quote is the primary action throughout; this is B2B, not checkout.
